Grandma's '64 Comet & HCP Holder...

Got this in an email today. Completely awesome!

This lady is 89 years old, and is still driving her '64 Mercury Comet

with the same engine. 540,000 miles!

She's adorable. Plus it's soooo cool when the interviewer finds out

she has a HCP! LOL!!!!

Pretty awesome. Not only what she does at her age but that she has kept that car for over 40 years. Now days there is a mindset of trade it in every two or three years. I would love to see the service records on the motor. I have a log of every bit of service done to my truck since I bought it new in 98. Mostly oil changes.

I met Rachael many years ago when I was into Thunderbirds and she showed her car at some of the car shows in central Florida. The Mercury always drew a lot of attention due to the fact it was mostly original. Very pleasant old gal. Don't underestimate the determination or abilities of older folks. Especially when they're packin'.....Even bigger
