No, Sig only ships one mag with new pistols now. If memory serves, they started doing that around the beginning of last year. Could be wrong, maybe someone who remembers for certain will come by and clarify. I just know when I bought my P250, I got one mag and it took about a month to get two more mags for it.

I got that phone call from Sig a couple of months back, but didn't really need anything for the P250 at the time. Might have to call them back and see what's in stock now.

What I mean is someone posted here that they were bringing back the two mags. You just had to get one that was made after the date of them bringing it back.

Yeah, I got the same email. Didn't have a "classic" model though.

How... how did I not know this?

We all received emails regarding the charge a few weeks ago.

Check to see who the inside customer service rep is sending emails too.

Also, I would bitch to Stuart next time you see him.

(he will be at my shop tomorrow, so I am assuming he may head your way after that)

He's supposed to be here on Wednesday, if I recall correctly. PM me if you want me to bitch at him about anything in particular, besides the fact he never comes around like Jay Argo when he worked this area.

I will see him tomorrow morning.

Stuart is a good dude.

Nevermind, talked to my factory guy a few minutes ago and I'm thinking of our old Sig field rep. This guy apparently just started working there a week before SHOT.

My apologies !

The factory Sig rep was in our store and i asked him about the crap boxes and only one mag. He said they had so many guns but not enough mags since MegGAr could not keep up, so they started shipping them with one mag. However guns manufactured after June 3 2009 would have 2 mags. And i see they are already using better boxes.

My question is why a gun purchased before June 3 wasn't any cheaper or have a voucher for a magazine to be claimed later.

More than likely the new company line that they didn't have enough is just BS. My bet is they tried to get away with it like Kimber has done for years and got so many complaints about it they reversed themselves for the sake of PR.
