no. as far as it being a SBR, it is NOT. it is both over 26" in OAL AND its barrel is over 16".

if i read it correctly the customer supplies the suppressor and it can be used without it so you would need to get a stamp for the suppressor if/when you got one for it, but that would be it.

i see no reason to have to get a stamp for it but as im sure you wont be seeing these on the private sales market anytime soon, a dealer would let you know right quick that it was a NFA weapon

yea under characteristics its lists barrel lengths as 20", 22", 24", and 27" and lists the overall lengths as 46" with stock open and extended with 22" barrel and 36" with stock folded and 22" barrel. therefore the shortest the rifle coule be is 34" OAL with the 20" barrel.

Rifle looks interesting but butt ugly as hell. A rail on the forend? Its just asking for 20 lbs of crap to be attached. Laser,lights, whistles, bi-pod, bells,etc. It probably does add some sort of cooling factor for rapid firing but I thought the intent of a sniper rifle was to shoot once and bail. If multiple shoots were required I would think a SASS would be better.

I don't see the point. Ok it's a modular system. but at 15k or half that, or even 1/3 that it seems like you could specialize more and be more cost effective....

338 lapua....m200 system in .408 seems to own it. For that range...I can't see ammo production being a holdback...Im not .mil, but I can't see why you would take any new system in 338 over a .50 or 408.

300 WM or .308....there are plenty of remington custom builds, or even surgeon actions fitted to adjustable stocks that seem to be working fine...

I just don't get it. I'm not all for the SASS system even, but a modular bolt in a specialised field? Meh don't get it....civvy or mil

If it's a tacticool rifle introduced via mil to sell to civvies...I kinda respect it even less...even if it was 100% US made...I would rather have a surgeon build on a Mcmillan m40 or a5 style stock in any of the calibers listed for the Remy rifle...not to mention the AICS...It's late and I'm tired but I don't get it.

they choose 338 over .408 or .50 because 50 is primarily a anti-material and .408 is overkill in most cases. but the big thing is that a 338 is a much smaller and lighter rifle in most cases than a 408 or 50.

It is the same image digitally reversed that's why the flag appears backward in one pic and there are slight variances in color.
