Arizona Moves to Allow Concealed Guns in Bars - AP Story

Recommended Posts

So I happened upon this article tonight on Foxnews.com which is an AP story.

"Arizona Moves to Allow Concealed Guns in Bars"

Arizona Moves to Allow Concealed Guns in Bars - Local News | News Articles | National News | US News - FOXNews.com

It's not a total one sided story as it's got a restaurant owner that totally supports the bill. However, it's got this guy who while is a total moron and slandered permit holders did make me laugh (see bold for what made me laugh!)

Frank Murray, owner of Seamus McCaffrey's Irish Pub & Restaurant in downtown Phoenix, said he opposes the law and will prohibit his customers from coming in armed.

"It's kind of like the Wild West days," he said. "We've got enough nuts out on the street walking around with guns. We don't need them in places with alcohol and families."

It would be nice if these people would understand the statistics on how permit holders are the most law abiding group of people (right after the Amish;))
