Have seen these at shows for 10 yrs. claim do do a heck of a lot, but are the any good or Mickey-Mouse, like the cheap night vision Junk?

Never used one but my only problem with it would be false readings. A lot of things give off heat like trees and other animals and that could throw you off. Maybe someone on here has used one before.

Thank's that is exactly as to what i thought! Checked one out at a show today, marked as Show/Price $169.+ tax, talked him down to $135. OTD, but found them on net for $118.+ $9.00 Shipp. it was very interesting, but I just dont know!

You planning to use it to find deer? If so don't waste your money, I bought one a couple years ago thinking it would help find a deer if I had to track one, I tried it out the next deer I got, I saw the deer go down so I knew where it should have pointed me to but it was hard to get a good reading and I knew where the deer was. I sold it on ebay and never looked back.
