Alexander Voted to Confirm Koh

That's the same as voting to confirm him, how many times did the democrats filibuster to stop a Bush appointee to the courts?
It's even worse. He voted to end the filibuster, which guaranteed confirmation, and then voted against confirmation when he knew it was meaningless so he can claim to have voted against Koh. Lying 2 faced piece-o-:screwy:

He doesn't even have guts to be open about his true beliefs

Exactly correct...I was just responding to the question of how he could be shown to have voted no on the confirmation itself.

Part of the problem is that Republicans on the national level are often afraid to use the power they have...Democrats are not.

As many of you have stated I supported him in the past. However, this week I've faxed & emailed his DC office with disgust. I even told him that I'm now ashamed to tell people that my wonderful GrandMother was an Alexander from Blount county!!!!

I also stated that I would do what ever I could, in the election process, to help find, support & promote an alternative to his elitist stupidity.

What in the world does that mean?

I think he's saying 'What the President wants, the President gets.'

If every Tennessean who cares about the Univ. of TN at all understood just how badly Lamar raped it for his own purposes in the past, he would never have been elected to the Senate in the first place.

As long as he keeps raping UT and leaves Memphis State alone, he is ok in my book. :tough:

(ok, not really. I actually think he is a big ole image.php?u=1742&dateline=1246041087 but i couldn't pass up the dig at UT)

Now I understand GOA's comments. I didn't realize he first betrayed us by helping to kill the filibuster knowing his confirmation vote would be useless.
