24 wonderful years. Not gonna get into it here but she was my hs sweetheart, my soul mate, somehow we got mixed up with the wrong person for our first marrage then we found each other again.

Yesterday was our 21'st anniversary. I have been married so long I don't look both ways when I cross the street...

Longer marriages don't seem to be the norm these days. Making a long marriage work is hard work. We have had our ups and downs but glad we stuck with it. We were high school sweethearts and are still today. So how about the rest of you? Are you married and if so, how long?

PS - Don't get me wrong, I am not saying that people who have been divorced didn't work hard enough. Sometimes people just shouldn't stay together.

Okay, enough of the sensitive stuff. I need to go shoot something....

I'm sure its not a scientific data point but does it seem to be a trend here that folks who are responsible, financially stable for the most, and security conscious gun owners seem to be able to maintain long lasting marriages?

It seems to tell a story reading this thread that ties into the current social and political themes in America.
