I looked through the rule book and didn't see anything for or against it, but are shorts ok for competition? I've been twice and don't remember seeing any shorts, and I expect it to be hot tomorrow

Yes it will be smokin hot and I will be wearing shorts up in Bowling Green tomorrow. Also I doubt that we will be using our tacticool vests for "concealment".

Yea i was kind of leaning toward an old broken down thing as a sheet work shirt I've got for concealment

Sorry to hijack this thread, but I have another stupid IDPA question: do you have to have a carry permit to participate in the events?

Nope, just make sure you don't transport the gun loaded when you're coming to the event.

Awesome. Very much appreciated. I read the entire 05 handbook over the past few days and didn't find any info on that topic. But, as a CAD operator, I created my own full-sized IDPA paper targets on 24x36D.

You may now have your thread back. Thanks again!

Yea, I do the AutoCAD thing for a living too. Comes in handy for making targets.
