BTW, Cannon.. that tacticalunderground link was a really good read. Thanks!

I actually broke down and spent $14 on the book, I would have to say IMO it was worth it for my entertainment. The only thing I hated was how the ending was.....the creator just left it hanging. There is supposed to be a part II released but the author is currently on duty in sand land so I have no idea when it will be released.

Non-zombie related persay but a decent long read.

I tried reading that but it's not written terribly well in my opinion. I think it was the guys first attempt at writing and better than anything I could produce but still not something I could read all the way thru.

I just recently finished "The Road" by Cormac McCarthy. Interesting post apocalyptic story. A quick read to.

I can somewhat agree with that, however I still found it entertaining to read.

There will be a movie based on the book coming out soon with Viggo Mortensen (Aragorn from Lord of the Rings) playing the father.

My buddy and I were having a lengthy discussion about zombies/post-apocalyptic warfare, etc. at work at the range the other night. He stated that he would just sit at the end of the counter with an M4 resting on his legs smoking a cigarette waiting for "them". I started laughing because I just kinda pictured my shaggy little Iraq-vet friend waiting for the zombies while some 40's sounding music plays over the scene. Kinda like this...
