Question on issues with selling a private firearm at a gun show

First time doing this and want to make sure of the laws and even etiquette. I have a firearm that I am thinking of selling at the Smyrna Gun Show this weekend (in order to buy another one of course!). Can I just carry it around with a sign on it for sale? Can I make the transaction on the floor of the show or do I need to go outside? If I have ammo that could go with it, I know I have to leave it in my vehicle but can you make it part of the deal and take the person out to the car and give it to them?

Thanks for the help everyone. Wasn't sure where to post this.

Next time, if you would, please be a little more succinct. My life is too busy to read these long, drawn out answers. :)

If you do not know the buyer you may wish to make out a bill of sale. Not mandatory but sometimes useful for later.

Legal in Tennesse to do face to face selling without an FFL involved.

Just carry a sign with what you have for sale and want you want for it.

Thanks for the help everyone. See ya there. As far as what I'm selling, I didn't want to skirt the benefactor requirement for a "free" listing by asking questions. If you're curious PM me.
