9 Days in Yellwstone

The wife and I just got back from camping in Yellowstone for 9 days, and wowsers...whatta trip. For those of you that have never been, but have wanted to, it is definately worth the trip. We camped in a tent the entire time, no pop-up or trailer here. It snowed on morning number 1, and we were in double layered clothes every night, with gloves as well.

For those of you that already did this when you were in the service, I am sure the novelty just wouldn't be there, but we had a great time

Been a few times too. Between YS, Glacier, and the Bighorn Mtns of northern Wyoming...

No prettier place on earth.

I went on a trip to Alaska to do some salmon fishing and one of the places we stopped was Yellowstone. It is beautiful there.

Yellowstone is pretty good. If you get a little more time go on up to Glacier NP! Absolutely beautiful and not near the traffic.

Nothing beats tent camping, especially out west.

I lived in Jackson WY from 1997 till 2004. Glad you liked the area. I love it and miss it daily. what part of YSNP did you visit?
