Headed up to Holiday world next week. I have no desire & will not carry at the park but was wanting to know if I can carry in Indiana? More so I'd we were to be stranded for a unforeseen mechanical breakdown. I would hatE to be stranded with 3 kids a wife & a Magnum on 22,s with no type of sd weapon. I would feel like a sitting duck.

Eye...you're going to INDIANA...I think your pimp mobile will be safe! Now, if your daily driver were a tricked out John Deere 7500 2-row combine riding on 40-inch aggressive tread Co-Op ag tires, you may have something to worry about.

Don't be hatin', just because they be harvestin'

:D

We have considered going up there next month, so curious as well. I knew that IN was good for CHP, but figured the park was off-limits.

From their website, under "Rules and Services":

Behavior:

Holiday World & Splashin' Safari are family parks. Foul language and unruly behavior will not be tolerated. No alcohol, weapons, knives or firearms allowed on premises. No running, spitting, or throwing of objects permitted. No solicitation or unapproved distribution of literature on park property. Each Guest must also comply with the Rider Responsibility code as mandated by the State of Indiana. Please remember that items in pockets are considered "loose items" that could injure you or another rider; secure all loose items before riding.

I was also concerned about this statement:

Health & Safety:

For the Health & Safety of all Guests:

Please don't swim when you have diarrhea (this is especially important for children in diapers).

I guess this means no stopping for Krystals or White Castles on the drive up.

The simple yet humorous answer to your question...NO...unless you look like Ursla Andress in a bikini from the James Bond movie THUNDERBALL...then yes carry whatever you want...but it'll have to be OC

We went up there last August, best I remember it was posted at the entrance, but I wasn't going to carry inside the park anyway.

I can only wonder what event made them feel it necessary to add that.
