here is the black powder gun that I got from Kahrman. Its a Uberti 1958 Army. I have got it taken completely apart and OMG is it rusty!!! The trigger would not drop the hammer and its a good thing cause it was LOADED!!!:D:eek::) But anyway, here is a couple of pics. I have not gotten the trigger guard off yet due to a stripped screw but will have it off this weekend. one of the pics shows the lead balls by the cylinder. There is still a nipple in one cylinder so I was not able to get that ball out. Just thought I would share.....IMG_0033.jpg

you don't have it completely apart yet. There 5 or 6 more parts to go inside the frame when you get the trigger guard off.

Looks like you are making progress though.

keep posting pics

Hang in there and keep working with it. There is something to be said for the satisfaction of finishing up a project like this. I was given a CVA version of the Colt 1860 Army that was missing a bunch of pieces, and what was there was in rougher shape...

But eventually I got it to this point:

So there IS light at the end of the tunnel.

pitch that in a bucket of kerosene...add a little oil...stir...let it set for a couple of days. take off the grips first. Ubertis are the very best of the spagetti western guns
