My ex son in law who turned out to be a wife beater (didn't find this out until she left him or I'd be emailing this from prison) was caught with his pants down with an under aged girl. Found guilty, going to morgan county for 2 years (not enough time).

Now with this sexual predator conviction I can keep my grand daughters away from him until they are 18 and old enough to figure out what a :poop:head he is. (that is if he survives in jail).

I've never been to or worked in any sort of prison or correctional facility, but I've always heard that wife beaters and child molesters are preyed on and despised by the rest of the inmate population.

They usually put them into segregation because the other inmates will kill them, rape them, or worse.

I'm 48 years old and I've never hit a woman, I did push my 1st wife out of my face once (you would have had to meet her, most people would have shot her). If I get that mad I just walk away, and I haven't done that in years.

My 9 yr granddaughter wouldn't hardly speak until she was almost 7 (2 years after my daughter left the bastard) from him yelling at her all the time.

I hope he gets what he deserves and never makes it out of prison. If he does I hope I am fortunate enough to meet him in a dark alley with no witness around, then I could guarantee he would never hurt any one again.

I know how you feel, dralarms. I'm 48 and have never hit a woman either. My wife, (from the age of 18), and I have an agreement: she don't kick me in the balls, and I don't hit her. It's worked for 30 years!

My oldest daughter's ex-husband was a little weasel like this. She didn't tell me that he knocked her down the stairs until long after the divorce, because she knew I'd have killed him. While looking him dead in the eye I did tell him one time, "I should have killed you when I had the chance." You should have seen the look on his face.

I'm glad for your family this rat bastard is away from them. It's good to see the bad guys get caught and pay a price.

And that will follow this jackwad the rest of his miserable life.

Interestingly, we just (this week) declined a contractor for a job - seems he had a little problem that came up on the mandatory background check. He had a felony conviction that landed him on the (wait for it) registered sex offender roles due the nature of the offense (felony was the disqual, but of course, we looked at the registery after finding ithe felony and there he was).

They do look down on them but most of the time they are in general population. I have worked in Law Enforcement for almost 10 years 8 1/2 in corrections. I hardly if any, ever see any inmate violence towards a sex offender, usually they just get taken advantage of not beaten up.... example you buy me a noodle or I hurt you. Now there are a lot of them that do get hurt but if you look at the big picture most fights occur over bull **** stuff. Now when I worked in the prison I know some of them didn't take showers so that other inmates wouldn't mess with them.

Depends on if they choose to go to protective custody. They usually will check themselves in but later on some will come out and go to population.
