Mounted only for pics, but it's actually not that bad using iron sights. (I'm not really into red dot sights anymore.)

Seriously. I'd be afraid to wear some of those 1st gen goggles for sake of neck and back problems! :dirty:

I got one of those gen1 Bushnell monoculars from Sams awhile back. Pretty neat. No gun mounted stuff though. I use mine for seeing whats in the yard before I light it up with my flashlight or BB gun! Beware dogs and cats.

When I was still active duty I got volunpicked to help do a by serial number arms room inventory... we had like 3 star light scopes. Things are big.

I was my units armorer and we had 14 of those. TVS-5's I believe. Crew served in there time I would guess?

Hey LA 357SIG what do you do on the tow boat. Also is that a four cylider EMD and if so is that part of your propulsion or generation plant.

I am the Engineer and they are 1400 hp 8 cylinder Emd's. It's a small tow boat which I don't mind at all coming from 8000 hp and up OSV's.

Opps, forgot about the other four cylinders on the other bank. I worked on EMDs for ten years on the great lakes. Now I am an engineer with great lakes fleet and work on heavy fuel engines like peilsticks and enterprises. Nice to see another engineer out there.

dont tell me 2/3rd acr. My company was sent to reinforce those guys in fallujah summer of 2003. We were not impressed.

6/8 4 BD 3 ID. I don't think my unit stood up till late 03 early 04. OIF III is when we first went.
