Spotting Scope Stands

I have looked at several spotting scope stands but none of the descriptions online provide enough information for me to make a choice.

Does anyone have a spotting scope stand that they would recommend?

I have gotten feed back that 5/8" is better than 1/2" and so I figured 3/4" would be even better. But I have not heard whether bipod or tripod is better.

I have seen stand by Creedmore and Champions Choice and few others. Please let me know any feed back on the stand you are using.

My spotting scope came with a tripod stand. I didn't know there was any other option.

I like the compact Leupold tripod. Its about the right size for benchrest, but still extends up to about 3'.

What are you going to use it for? Are you looking for a weighted base or standard "tripod" deisgn?

I am looking for the weighted base, bipod or tripod that extends up to three or five feet. The standard tripod spreads out too much.

Solid as a rock. 1" tube, and can be adjusted with one hand. I gave the CC stand I had to the TNSSA juniors after I got the Ray-Vin.

Ray Brandes- the owner- is a great supporter of the shooting sports, and backs up his products 100%.

Once you go Ray-Vin, you'll never be even remotely satisfied with a lesser product again. What're you using for a spotting scope?
