I am interested to hear from Daniel et al when they have more than 144 characters to tell us what the judge said, etc.

This is good.

last week sombody posted about how the opposition was 'more prepared' than we were for this fight. If this 90 days thing is right, that gives us 90 days to get REAL information out to the public about this law. This is a great opportunity for those of us that know the facts to help people understand. You can bet that the Anti-gun crowd will not sleep for the next 90 days thinking of ways to spin this.

Great. Just flippin great. ;(

If it's about constitutionality, they have close to zero chance of winning it. My understanding is that they challenged the constitutionality in order to sway the judge into allowing the injunction - with that being shot down, there's little chance anything will happen.

We'd better hire sky writers then, because the media sure isn't going to lift a finger to help us get our message out. If anything, they'll be doing the full court press.

That gives us 90 days to prove we are responsible, and they are wrong.

Think we can get the open carry guys to take a hiatus?

From the Nashville City Paper....

Chancellor denies injunction to stop guns-in-bars law

Monday, July 13, 2009 at 3:58pm

By Nate Rau

The new state law permitting carry permitholders to take guns into places that serve alcohol will go into effect tonight after Chancellor Claudia Bonnyman denied on Monday a quest for a temporary injunction.

Bonnyman recommended the challenge to go forward in 90 days for a merits hearing, but said procedurally she did not have the power to institute an injunction at this time.
