septic tanks

When I was deployed we had those portable toilets. When I would have front gate guard we had to fill out a log that looked similiar to this.

Event:_______ Time:_______ Action Taken:___________

Someone had put down "Event: **** sucker truck arrived" and for action "sucked ****".

I read it and died laughing so I had to do it every time too.

as luck would have it, this same discussion came up today with sis and her septic system. last year they had a new drain field dug due to very soft ground, etc. almost one year later, something not working again. new drain field is very mushy and detergent bubbles out of the ground. I ask when the last time the tank was pumped - bout 5 years ago. Should the drain field be causing problems after 1 year????? It appears I have hit the do-do gold mine with this thread. Somebody....help a brother out!

No, they shouldn't be having problems. They also shouldn't be letting you use their bathroom anymore, ftncityfatboy.

LOL.
