Very Nice Gun Display at Tellico Plains Museum

I have been by the place hundreds of times but never stopped. We were showing some out of town friends our beautiful area and they wanted to stop at the Tellico Plains gift shop and museum. Gift shops are not my thing so I wandered into the museum that is in the same building. I was impressed. There are hundreds of guns, a very nice display of all types, from flintlock, military weaponry, to modern firearms. The museum has many other antiques and pictures related to the area. The facility is located on highway 165, the Cherohola Skyway, on the bypass of Tellico Plains.
