MTAC holster XD/229

I have a MTAC for my XD 9mm 4", and I recently bought a SIG 229R.

I was wondering if there is any reason why I shouldn't use the MTAC to carry the 229.

The 229 will snap into place, and stays firmly when tugged on.

Is there anything else I need to worry about?

If it fits, it fits. Use it at your own descresion...

Personally, you outght to contact CompTac and have a body made for the 229 sent to ya and replace the XD one. Think their $40 or so?? That's one reason I bought the MTAC for my Glocks. What ever I get in the future, I can purchase a body, swap them out and not have to worry about "breaking in" a new holster. Definatly better than having to purchase a new holster for every pistol you buy....:wall:
