Police have read suspects the Miranda Warning for many decades yet lawyers' number one complaint is that their clients still cannot keep their mouths shut. These people want to die as martyrs, and are proud of what they have done. The act of reading them their rights will change nothing. What concerns me is the administration's mindset towards the terrorists this action indicates.

Generally, I am content to let people be foolish and learn at their own pace; however I can't let this one pass. The fact of the matter is that people DO NOT automatically have all the rights and priviledges of citizenship when they interact with the US Government (or any other). THERE IS NO PRECIDENT IN HISTORY FOR THIS CONCEPT; HISTORICALLY OR NOW; EXCEPT IN THE MINDS OF THE FOOLISH. The Constitution applies to American Citizens on American soil; not foreign fighters on foreign soil. DUE PROCESS DOES NOT APPLY TO WAR -- WE ARE AT WAR WITH RADICAL ISLAM!! We have given untolled billions to oil sheiks, dictators, and would be reformers in the middle east (including the partron saint of terrorists Yasser Arafat, the father of the PLO); all for nothing. Nothing works because they are bent on the destruction of American and Israel.

George Bush started with the right solution; we have just been too reasonable in applying it. I (and I believe the majority of other responisble people) believe the solution is to kill our enemies until they decide to leave us alone. That's exactly how Israel does it. It is my opinion that we should do more.

I believe that you are right about Oboma's pandering to the base. I also believe he laying the groundwork to make the same foolish case that you have -- that is; all peoples that come in contact with the U S have the same rights as U. S Citizens, and the Constitution of the United States applies to the whole world. The impications of this concept are breathtaking both at home (with the illegal immigrant population) and abroad (terrorists); and if implemented, will destroy this country.

There are those among us (just as you have, apparently) who are listening to and believing these childish socialists who worship the law (those that they make) instead of doing what is right. Those who believe that we can dazzle terrorists and their tenth century mullahs with the eloquence of the "smartest guy in the room" pronouncements, take the "moral high ground", invoke the "rule of law", and convince these monsters to magically renounce their aims to kill us or subdue us and make us subservient to Muslum law. This is the most laughable (and sad) part of this whole debacle. The fact is that militant muslums (read terrorists, foreign fighters, Muslum Brotherhood, Hezbolla, PLO, etc) will kill these effiminate pseudointellectuals first; because they appear to be (and are) weak.

Believing that you get certain rights simply for being born on US soil and others don't is called FASCISM.

Note where it says "all men" and not "people born on this plot of land". Also note that the supreme court has ruled that indeed all people have certain inalienable rights. Ever heard of a guy name James Madison?

Well, the British crown dubbed our founders as terrorists and tortured them and asserted they had no rights...just like you are doing now.

Again, simply stating someone is a terrorist doesn't make them a terrorist. You must have proof and this proof must be pondered by due process. Anything to the contrary is fascism and makes us just as bad as the people we call our enemies.
