OAK RIDGE SPORTSMEN'S ASSOCIATION

APPROVED OUTDOOR 2700 PISTOL TOURNAMENT

DATE: Saturday, September 15, 2007 and October 13, 2007

TIME: Firing scheduled to start at 9:00 am. Competitors must check in at least ½ hour before the tournament begins or forfeit their reservation.

LOCATION: Oak Ridge Sportsmen’s Association Outdoor Pistol Range is 3.8 miles west of the intersection of Highway 62 (Illinois Ave.) and the Oak Ridge Turnpike (Highway 95). Sign is readily visible from the Turnpike.

ELIGIBILITY: Open.

RANGE FACILITIES: 20 firing points with fixed targets at 25 and 50 yards. Firing points are covered. Bring your own lunch.

REGISTRATION: All reservations should be made at least 7 days before the match. A call or letter will reserve a place on the line. The Entries will be limited to 20 Competitors. Competitors will be notified as to their reserved space after their reservation is received. Competitors entering the entire tournament will be given preference. Post entries will be accepted if openings are available.

ENTRY FEES: NRA Registration Fees: $4.50

Individual Matches: $6.50

Complete Program: $18.00

(One or more individual matches may be entered by a competitor.)

COURSE OF FIRE: Match 1 -- .22 caliber "900" aggregate

Match 2 -- Centerfire "900" aggregate

Match 3 -- 45 Caliber "900" aggregate

Match 4 -- Aggregate of Matches 1, 2, and 3

RULES: NRA rules will govern at all times.

SCORING: Each competitor will score the target to their left.

CLASSIFICATION: Competitors will be classed according to the NRA classification system. Unclassified shooters will fire as Unclassied Masters. Categories such as civilian and service will not be recognized. There will be no team matches.

AWARDS: Class awards will be given in each match provided there are three or more shooters entered in that class. Second and third place can be opened by additional 3 shooters each. If fewer than 3 shooters are entered in a class, it will be combined with the next higher class. There will be an award for the open Tournament Winner. Awards will consist of NRA Award Points or merchandise.
