Don't tell them about their signs.

Don't tell them about their signs.

Tell them what? They've already made it clear that they don't want my money, I won't bother even setting foot in their establishment, much less telling them anything.

Though, you would think that if they really cared about the issue they would take the time to learn what a proper sign is.

Per the sign of 'Our first entrant is' " ... or weapons of any sort ... " again, a weapon can and will take just ab0ut any form or/and use, defensive or offensive. geez

They already posted on the proper signage.

Apparently they don't read their own work. I never made it to the bottom of the page, either, Mike, thanks for pointing it out. Hopefully their glassy eyed fervor will keep them from reading the fine print.

In a similar vein, I just launced the TN 39-17-1359 Forum. I know we already have something similar here, but, hey, redundancy is not a bad thing.

The statute doesn’t require that this exact language be used, only that the language be “substantially similar,” and it doesn’t prescribe a particular size or location for the sign(s), only that they be of a size that is “plainly visible to the average person.”

OK that crackpot obviously omitted one VERY important piece to that. It HAS to be on every main entrance that is used for entering patrons, am I right?

According to Tennessee State Attorney General Opinion 07-43:

Tenn. Code Ann. § 39-17-1359 requires the posting of notices at the entrances of each individual business that prohibits weapons on its property if possession of handguns has not been prohibited on the entire property.

Don't you love how Wendi says don't post if you disagree with me. Her mind is made up and she won't be confused with facts.:)

Methinks these sites will get more places to properly post.

It might be different if HCP folks were a lot more than about 3% of the TN population.

Oh well...whatever..."interesting times", I guess.

Fun with the Anti's

This Anti blog I mentioned in the OP has images of folks "following" the blog. I felt I should be open in my "support" for the blog and posted a pic of my g/f holding my AR-10.

The devil made me do it.

No weapons of any sort allowed? No steak knives for the customers to use.
