Motorcycle recommendation?

I am in the market for a motorcycle. I have ridden dirt bikes and ATVs, but not a street bike. I am looking at either a VTX 1300 or a Suzuki Boulevard M90. I don't really want to start with anything smaller because I know I will want the bigger engine in a month or two.

I'm just looking for a little advise on the two, as well as other suggestions. I would like a Harley V-Rod, but that doesn't fit into the budget yet. Does anyone know of a good bike for sale?

I have a 04 VTX1300C, really like it.

Both are great. I own the Suzuki M50 however.

I've got 2 Suzukis....(Bandit 1200 & V-Strom 650).

That said, I'd opt for a VTX 1300 if I were looking for a cruiser. I've read nothing but good about the VTX 1300...., plus, the people I've talked to that have them love them. Honda makes an excellent product.

I'd have 2 Hondas if Honda made a bike similar to the 2 I currently have. I've had 3 Hondas through the years (been riding for 28 or 29 years). Every Honda I have had has been excellent concerning design, maintenance, etc.

Oh, don't be talkin' motorcycle. The mechanic working (well, is supposed to be working) on my bike is on my last nerve. It's taking him forever to get my bike ready. And to think about all this beautiful riding weather going to waste really gets me frustrated.

Don't know much about the VTX 1300 or Suzuki Boulevard M90, but my Aunt is very pleased with her Suzuki C50, and my father is equally as pleased with his Custom Suzuki Intruder 1500.

I'd also suggest taking a look at the Kawasaki Vulcan series.

I feel you Triple but not a mechanic on my end. The guy has had my seat for over a week and still isn't done. Should have taken may 3 days. I WANT TO RIDE!!!!
