My main man Daniel hooked a brother up with a couple boxes of WWB .45 auto.

Got a phone call about an ammo order I had long ago forgotten about, it is shipping today.

I am in a damn fine mood!

Actually my day hasn't been great so far. Came in to a crap storm because of a investigation I worked yesterday on a theft and had to deal with unhappy folks all day about that. (Sorry not my fault a phone got stolen when it was left it in plain view in a room 800 people have access to.)

BUT, I get my niece tonight, we got restaurant carry, I'm off for the next 4 days, and Mike is happy so it's hard for me to be grumpy.

1. I hired a guy today.

This might seem strange, but as a small business owner it is validation that I am doing something right, and takes a bunch of work off my shoulders. It lets me focus on growing the business as opposed to always being neck deep in the day-to-day.

Not to mention that neither party in our government seems to have any clue how unbelivably difficult it is as a small business owner to actually create a job. Both sides talk about whatever policy they are pursuing as somehow magically creating jobs. I'd like to get some of that magic, because from where I stand it's been an uphill fight one step at a time.

2. Went to the bank to deposit money instead of taking it out. You've got to be thankful for the little things.

3. Going to the range tonight - OnTarget down in the Boro - and I've got a box of .380 that I was able to pick up at Wal-Mart. The P230 and the Micro Eagle that I got from Hatmaker are going to get some range time.

I got soaked going into walmart, but I came out with 100 rds of 9mm. I am thankful for the rain and that we are not in drought conditions anymore.

Seems like the older i get the more i enjoy and am thankful for a good poop'n. Kinda goes along with the "if it works it hurts, if it don't hurt it don't work" theory. My body loves me for the years of abuse I've put it through.

It was a good day because I heard from my Metro Tax Appraisal review and I got my appraisal reduced by 12% without having to go to their office.

My wife and son are still asleep in our bed and I was just sitting here thinking how thankful I am that I have a job, food in the fridge and a roof over our heads.

I am thankful that when I turn on the faucet water comes out and it is safe to drink.

I am thankful that our electricity is on 24/7 and we don't have power rationing.

I am thankful for roads that don't look like a mortar range due to all the pot holes.

I am thankful that I don't have to go through 2 check points to get to the

market.

I am thankful that when I went to the hospital to see my new great nephew that the odor of old urine didn't knock me out when I walked through the doors.

Last, but not least, I am thankful for all the people on this site... I have learned a thing or ten here.
