Yay Restaurant - Boo Local Parks

Recommended Posts

Well, it's great that we can carry in (some/most?) restaurants that serve booze now. Time will tell how many (depending on postings).

BUT, local parks carry is equally important to me due to my lifestyle, and I don't think there's any chance of my being allowed to do so in Knox County. A VERY "unclean" statute.

Matter of fact, seems to be a squeaker if anyone's even gonna be allowed to carry in state parks either? This is still part and parcel with the local parks bill, yes? So if Gov vetoes, not sure there's enough to override this one as it was much closer the first time around?

Mike and his chaps are the only ones who should worry about (be on the lookout for?) in our parks. There are no evil assault squirrels. Criminals don't even like nature.

For those of you who don't know, this is sarcasm.

Well, here in Memphis, there are a lot of two legged varmints that roam the parks.

So the veto override happened but does this take immediate effect?

Tomorrow is my last full day in Chattanooga so I wish this would have been finalized on June 1st like it should have been but I am happy for the HCP holders of Tennessee!

There is a chance that with the attention the present over ride has achieved, the governor may not want more attention. I plan on laying low and concealing a small handgun when all these laws go into effect. I feel that I am legal now in local parks and should be, as long as no properly worded signs, but don't want to fight a court case proving I am right b/c I want to carry my full sized Glock instead of my snub in my pocket. People have never noticed the snub and never will.....no matter what anti gun garbage the Commie Appeal may be feeding folks for breakfast.
