My permit expires 12 June. I went for renewal 6 April. I called today, 4 June; they haven't even run my background yet... the lady was very nice, and told me to call back at 3:30 this afternoon. We'll see...

I renewed at the middle of March. I call every week now. They just tell me that renewals are taking the full 90 days to process. Call us back in 30 days.

I called at 3:30, and they had processed mine, and it's on the way. I guess there's just so many in the system, it takes a gentle nudge...

My wifes NEW permit has cleared and was ready to mail.

MY renewal won't be processed until July. The new permit process is automated, the renewals are all done by hand. I was told to call back 9 July if I havent gotten anything by then they can push mine through, but they have to have the full 90 days to do that.

I will say for the amount of work they have on their plate, they are very plesant to speak with on the phone. I'd be a crabass with all of ya'll calling me :-)
