Sanity Check and Quiz

Recommended Posts

Time for a sanity check and quiz to see how bright you all are. I'm obviously not that bright at all when you look at the stats. :bowrofl:

So today I bought a (new) handgun:

/Ridiculously high price.

/No manual safety.

/No slide lock--after firing the last round, the slide returns to battery.

/No magazine disconnect: gun will fire without magazine in the well.

/DAO.

/Two calibers are available: both share the exact same dimensions.

So, what lame gun was this? :D

Rohrbaugh R9 or R9s?
Yep!

So the .380 and the 9mm are same size?

And both hold 6 rounds?

Ummm, then, ... why would you (or anyone) want the .380 ?

Is that part of the sanity check?

Must be the mystique associated with the world's rarest handgun cartridge.

My reasoning is the kick in a gun that weighs so little.

You mean the .380 (12 oz)?

Or the 9mm (14 oz) ?

I imagine kick is 'bout the same?

....except that the 9mm is more likely to save yer bacon.

... and as Garufa mentioned, unicorns and .380 are in similar supply.

But you're right about one thing, at about $100 per ounce, taint cheap!

Good choice, I've got the R9s. Took me a while to get used to the slide not locking. It's an awesome gun to carry though...

If you haven't checked already, Meco and Hidden Holsters make great front and rear leather pocket holsters for these.
