Going back to the passing of the permit law origininally that he was there and served on the committee and the predictions of blood in the streets basically from the media. quoting Tennesseean with all their biased BS.

I read on the Tennessean that if over ride today, the AG said it won't take effect for 40 days.

Edit:

The law was to have gone into effect June 1, but previous opinions from the state attorney general called for a 40-day window between passage of a new law and its effective date.

That means the law will go into effect in mid-July if the Senate overrides.

that has been discussed already a few pages ago and the general consensus is that the Tennessean is wrong becuase HB0962 has the wording about "necessary for the public well being" or whatever and specifically states that the bill will take effect on June 1st.
