Coal creek had about 10 boxes of .380 last weekend. They wanted $40 per box. It was the cheap no-name crap too. :woohoo:

Randy's guns and knives in Fountain City had plenty of .45 today when I was in there at lunch.

That's customer o-preciation. Unfortunately CCA has changed a whole lot in the last few months....

FWIW, Dicks near Cedar Bluff had squat for handgun ammo yesterday. Would love to find some Winny white box .38 special if anybody sees it around k-town.

How much was the .45?

Walmart in Halls has/had ( 9:15 am today) fair amount of Remington 9mm and Federal .22 bulk packs.

thats all I paid any attention too. Did not buy any either. Was hoping to find a box of .45 auto maybe, but no luck.

thanks for the heads up. Not near that desperate yet. Vigilance in searching will yield ammo at 30 bucks a 100. ( or near abouts)

i understand that!! the last i bought at walmart was just over $15/bx.

As I type this ammunitiontogo shows the righteous and most triumphant Prvi Partizan .380 in stock. $19.95/box.

I picked up the XD .45 for my dad. He wants me to part with a 100 round box of .45. I keep telling myself, "He's your FATHER!" :D Seriously, I can't wait for him to shoot it.

Cool Springs Update: Wal-Mart is cleaned out, but Dick's has a good supply of target ammo in what appeared to be most automatic calibers (Federal $15/box 9mm fmj), still a few boxes of jhp in 9 and .40.

As of about 11:30 Sat am Turkey Creek WalMart had 17 40-round white box 223 varmint for about $24 each.

Did not see much else, but didn't look too close either.

this old man doesnt understand. i know some ammo is better than others. i will take any ammo for self defense that goes bang when i pull the trigger. target ammo is going to do a dang good job on the human body if it goes bang when one needs it

I kind of think that if hollow point ammo is the shiznit, then why doesn't the military use it?

I think when you're shooting as many rounds as the military does, you're more concerned about reliability and cost rather than if the bullets make slightly larger holes in people.

Oh, and that whole Hague Convention thing.
