beat up 12 gauge I got in TGO classifieds...REMIX!

So i traded 450 rounds of 9mm...that I started hoarding long before the big scare, so it got it before the prices skyrocketed! For the "beat up 12 gauge" that was in the classifieds here on TGO. Well I know it's not most peoples flavor to have a pistol grip...but I had one laying around. here is the before and after shots. I polished some of the moving parts of the inside and bolt also while I was in there and the barrel is a very liberal 18.75 inches to make sure it is legal. I used wheel caliper paint in graphite grey to see how tought it will be, it says it is gas and oil resistant and also high heat being...it's made for brake calipers! I'll let you guys know how it holds up!

I figure I have about 80 bucks in the ammo....by actual money I spent, I know in today's market it's about double that. I dont think you can find a single shot for that price! I'm happy.

I needed a good cheap self-defense shotgun to go behind the door since mine was stolen in the past and pm'd for this one.

Now i'm glad i did not get in fast enough.

I could have never gave it that good of makeover.

Three chears for you, and thanks for the info on the paint i would have never thought of that.

I did a similar project a month or so ago. Except I refinished the wood and am currently debating what color to paint the metal with. Nothing like bringing an old junker back to life.

Yeah. Nice job :) Must have been fun too!

I too would be interested in hearing how that paint holds up.
