Well...whatever helps you sleep at night besides the Vicodin and "Sounds of the rainforest" cd.

You shut your dirty mouth. It's "Sounds of the Siberian Tundra" for your info. At least I don't sleep with the 'Sword of Megadong' or whatever it was. :chill:

You ended your first post with "and please remember, above all, being ignorant is un-american." With that it read like you were calling people ignorant and un-American.

no. sorry if you interpreted it like that. since i've read a lot of false information (the administration's true stance on the right to bear arms for example) in the political forums, what i meant was before you carve your opinions in stone, look into the truth and facts, then decide, to not do so would be wrong as an american.

i apologize if some did not get that out of it... that's how i meant it, and think it's a fair statement. sorry for any confusion.

Here ya go. I've gotten to post this twice this week.

Maintain good fellowship.Members should treat each other as they would like to be treated themselves. Name calling, flame posts, racial slurs, and other insulting remarks meant to cause conflict will not be tolerated. You should always try to maintain good fellowship with the other members of this community and be respectful to your fellow shooting enthusiasts whether they are new shooters or seasoned veterans.

Debate is welcome and encouraged, but you must always stick to attacking the issues rather than the person or profession. Personal attacks, and name calling, serve no purpose in the exchange and debate of good information. Keep in mind that in life there is no guarantee that others will agree with your thoughts or comments. You absolutely must try to handle disagreements, criticisms or opposing viewpoints with tact and maturity.

As far as I am concerned, BOTH parties here crossed WAY over the line.

BOTH have displayed an utter lack of decorum and respect, and I will be recommending that BOTH parties be banned.

For the rest of you, if you cannot respectfully disagree with someone's opinion, then don't bother to post. That's enough of this bull.

Thread locked... discipline incoming.

Both parties have been issued 30 day temporary bans to cool down.

Apparently neither is fully capable of engaging in a heated debate with another party without resorting to threats of violence against the other. There are plenty of forums on the Internet where you can behave badly. I can provide a link to one where it's actually considered to be a kosher form of discourse.
