Okay, Folks, I have 5 or 6 service rifles (M1's and M1A's) to loan out. Want to make it a TGO match?

Fury, once you get some info/confirmation from Charlie, maybe we should turn this over to a moderator for a new sticky topic.

I don't know Charlie very well and ORSA's last CMP event for the year is September 15th and 16th. It maybe a possibility and it may not. I don't want to get anyones hopes up and then dash'em. On the bright side Mid to late November and December seem to be slow months at ORSA for High Power.

You know, CMP's requirements for a club are very lenient... Ten members, an instructor, someone to be the designated contact with CMP, and regular shoots.

Anyway, if we can get a CMP match up, fine, if not, we can still have fun!

Sweet, I had the chance to shoot an M1 years ago and loved it. I have been saying I'll get one ever since. They are nice shooters and a real piece of history to boot. I shoot IDPA at ORSA, you guys have a nice club.

hahahah Robin, its not a club yet...mostly We the East Tn TGO'ers get together and shoot. once a month...

I think we meet more regularly than the rest of the board, which is a shame...

there are a LOT of great folks on here...it would be nice to see everyone getting together..and eventually have a region vs. region shoot...that would be FUN!

My S.L.E.D. came today along with 2 five round clips and 2 two round clips.

I think I have the S.L.E.D. figured out. It took a few try's to get it in right but it makes since how it works once I got it in right that is.

It was going to be a pain loading slow fire without one.
