So I am sitting on the couch with my wife when she says "Oh, I forgot to tell you. Today, I was feeding the baby and a guy came to the door. I answered it and it was a guy from a Home Security company. He asked if we were the owners of this house. I said yes and he asked if we would be interested in buying a home security system and I said we already have one. He said 'oh, may I ask what kind you have?' and I said SMITH & WESSON and he said 'Oh, thanks for your time, Bye'" She said that he left our property really fast. Just for the record I have a Ruger, but hey, it worked! I was really proud!

do you think I am crazy?! I will give her some leeway, She told me yesterday that she would like to get her HCP. I have been trying to get her to do that for MONTHS. She said she was downtown and some guy kept going to people's windows and leaning in (she had our baby with her and was getting nervous), so I think I am going to go easy on her.

My wife carries a Beretta Tomcat in her handbag (yeah, has an HCP, LOL). Nice little gun, shoots 71gr hollowpoints with no issue. Since it's a last resort and she can hit COM anywhere from 20 feet in with it, I think it'll do for her.
