Anybody know if you can carry at the Auditorium? I bet it's a NO, but anyone know for sure? Nothing on their page within the city's site about regs/firearms.

I think I found the answer: :shake:

39-17-1311. Carrying weapons on public parks, playgrounds, civic centers and other public recreational buildings and grounds. —

(a) It is an offense for any person to possess or carry, whether openly or concealed, with the intent to go armed, any weapon prohibited by § 39-17-1302(a), not used solely for instructional, display or sanctioned ceremonial purposes, in or on the grounds of any public park, playground, civic center or other building facility, area or property owned, used or operated by any municipal, county or state government, or instrumentality thereof, for recreational purposes.

Yeah, if he has his way I won't be frequenting the riverside parks much either. When I posted I didn't realize the Aud would be a city facility and forgot they might serve alcohol.

Guess I'll just be a little naked and uneasy tonight.:shake:

As of last year, the memorial auditorium didn't serve alchohol. Imagine my chagrin when I showed up for a Merle Haggard concert with no beer to be had. I thought that was some kind of law that you had to have a few beers when listening to singers of Haggard's genre. lol

Kinda kills "Think I'll just stay here and drink"

Oh man! No beer? I'm going there for a country concert (Jason Aldean). I thought beer was mandatory!

Now I can't carry OR drink? Sheesh!

Hey Arko, what area of Cleveland are you in? I grew up in the county up there, just right outside of the Charleston city limits.

North end. Down off Paul Huff/Old Tasso, not far from the YMCA. I like it in Cleveland!

Yeah, that's a pretty good area. If you take tasso all the way down to Old Charleston Rd, that's where I grew up. Big ol' dairy farm down there about 1/4 mile after you turn onto Old Charleston. Family still owns it, but I figured the Marine Corps was a better choice for me when I turned 18. Paid for school, and got me the heck off of the farm. lol
