It's TV night in Tennessee! All over Mythbusters.

The one they just did was making ICE blow up by burning thermite in it. It did go Kaboom!

I'm trying to do the quarterly lube on the guns and this stuff is distracting me like crazy.

At least two of the SKS's I saw them firing had the bayonette. At least one is minus.

What network carries that?

I took a day off of work and piddled around the house tonight. No wife, no kids (they are all at camp) and have re-discovered that there is some good TV out there.

I switched back to cable a month ago and still don't know where everything is on this system (its a co-op so don't give me Comcast channels)

Many men are saddened by reading this announcement.

Kari Byron Pregnant Mythbusters!

Kari Byron of Discovery Channel show MythBusters is pregnant. Kari Byron and Paul Urich announced her pregnancy back in February 25, 2009. But now Byron is confronting pregnancy myths, both in the series and for the latest Pregnancy Magazine which writes:

First-time mom Kari Byron?a huge reason to check out the Discovery Channel’s edgy show MythBusters?is more than ready to face the challenges of motherhood.

Bryon tells the magazine the following:

My husband is…so ready for this baby! He’s been doing more nesting than I have. I came home the other day and he had already bought the crib, a stroller, some swaddling blankets, a little baby hat, a vibrating seat…I’m like, “Wait a minute, I’m supposed to be doing all that!â€

Some of the pregnancy myths she tackles?

1. Spicy food can induce labor? False.

2. Carry a baby high means its a girl? False.

I used to watch that for the first couple seasons then they really started getting phony baloney with it. Especially with last years Halloween event. There are videos all over YouTube showing how they faked everything.

normally, I would close this thread as being off topic... but since C&R gets so few lively threads I'm going to let this one run...

I was so bummed to see them detonating C4 right beside those SKS's...

I want one so badly.
