Little ceasars

I have been wanting to post this for a little while, but keep forgetting to do so when I am on here. Now, while it is fresh on my mind, seems to be a good time.

Last week, I went to little ceasars here in East ridge. My wife wanted pizza, and for 5 bucks, it is as good as any. I had already taken off the shirt that I usually wear over my gun and I was just wearing my t-shirt. I do not usually carry open, but if I am going somewhere that I am going to be in and out I will (getting a little more comfortable with it). I went in and grabbed a pepsi and happened to glance at the cashier behind the register and saw that she was staring at me. I knew that she saw the gun and was probably going to ask about it. I got up there and ordered my pizza and as she was ringing it up she asked "are you the police or something" I replied "No". She then said, "So, if I buy a gun, I can just strap it on my hip and carry it around?" I was laughing a bit when I showed her my HCP and said "you can if you have one of these". She said that she had just turned 21 and was thinking about getting a gun. I told her that she should do so and get a matching HCP to go with it. I said, "being a female in this day and time, you need it more than ever" I told her where she could get a decent used gun, some to stay away from, and advised her on a place to get her safety course done. She was very polite and made me decide to go back there often to get pizza, if not only to check on the status of her getting a gun and HCP. And, I think I sold her on getting just that. I did, however fail to mention that she had better get it before the big "O" makes it darn near impossible to get one. Oh, well, I guess I had to save something to talk about the next time.

So...you've come to praise caesar - not to bury him?

Good job, good PR, and +1 for not bringing up big "O", since she may have voted for him. :P

Good job on the HCP PR.

But WOW, on the as good as any. Our little ceasars taste like cardboard with sauce on it. I think the box would taste better.

You mean a positive interaction while OCing!!! I call foul!!!..

LOL...just kidding, wish more people would post positive encounters. I truly think they happen more than negative, but the negative ones are what everyone post about.

I love little caesers. 4 kids, 2 pizzas, $10.90 out the door = kick butt deal. Pizza is not that bad...usually. Catch them when they are busy and they are fresh. Off peak time, they might have been sitting for awhile.

Hmm, cardboard, I might be able to get by with one pizza if they eat the cardboard.....

Good job on the education of the young lady.

Great story!

The Caesar's here in Cordova is actually pretty darn good most of the time, and I've even gotten some VERY good pizzas there when the planets align. :D

Archer, I think you misunderstand the main goal in life for Little Caesars. If you have to get out of your car to get a hot and ready pizza from Caesars, then you're putting in way too much effort.

Seriously though, great pizza for $5 (better than Gattis, or CiCi's). Also good job on educating instead of being short with her

You need to tell that girl to check out TGO.

It's hard to beat Caesars, I can leave my house get a pizza and be back in 5 minutes... and for $5 :hat:

glad it all went down in a positive manner. Btw Lil Caesers rocks..

I love me some Little Caesers too... I miss the one we had in Goodlettsville =/. Course that's been like... what... 10 years now since it's been gone? :hat:

Little Caesar's equals best party food ever! 20 bucks feeds a house full of people. Toss in a few extra coins and you can lay some crazy bread on the deal.

Good job as well Archer!

Great story! Warmed my heart. :hat:

I still remember the Little Ceasar's commercial with the cartoon Ceasar, "Pizza, Pizza".

Thanks. Too many would have been an a$$ about it, and probably converted her into an antigun person. We already have plenty of those.

A few years ago, I would eat little caesars all the time. But the one on chapman hwy in Knoxville has ruined it for me. Their pizza sucks.

I've helped many Obama voting ladies into getting their HCP, where to find handgun information (TGO!), and such.

I just bit my tongue making sure not to mention what I thought of Obama and agreed that those Glock 9s really rock! I figure if they become educated, they will understand and have more of a conservative's point of view.
