    • YES -- You can absolutely count on me being there
    • NO -- A meeting of this nature would be of no interest to me whatsoever

Probably wont be there. It interests me but I'm not driving all the way to Nashville. Don't have the cash for it.

Perhaps as soon as we nail down a date, those of you interested in coming from farther flung parts of the state can get together carpools and caravans. :meh:

id love to but i really doubt i can go that far, between work schedules and cost of it.

You couldn't drive the 40 miles or so from Manchester? :hat:

I'm interested, but will have to fit it in around already-planned activities.

Question - is TGO a formal organization (with officers, bylaws, etc) or just a message board? Michigan Gun Owners (MGO) is a formal organization that, among a lot of other activities, runs a message board. It's probably the biggest pro-2A group in the state. It started out as just a message board and expanded.

Sounds great to me, just let us know when/where. One of the reasons I sought out this board/forum was to have a chance to meet folks in TN with some the same interests.

Thanks much,

Barry

Did not vote, but would try to attend based on date and work schedule.

Did not vote - I'm interested - I made the 2 hour drive for the income tax protests a few years ago, so I'm willing - just a matter of scheduling.

Most Saturday's are possible, unless we're doing something my wife hasn't told me about yet; Sundays are taken.

This is the direction that we are heading by virtue of natural evolution.

As I recall there was talk of an event like this way back in the early days of TGO. Glad it has not been forgotten.

I'm there if I'm in town. Also willing to volunteer to help/set up, etc. Am out of town June 26-28 for sure, so hopefully a date other than those please!:D

What kind of time frame are we thinking / planning? Summer is filling up quickly.

One factor that will affect the date of this event is when our State legislators are in session. Obviously when they are not in session, many of them return to their home districts. We will want/need to do this when most of them are in the Nashville area.

My guess is that this will be in the early Fall.

This conference has several purposes. First of all it's a way for TGO members to meet each other and put names with faces.

Heck, it would be fun just to get the TGO membership together like this once a year. It's even MORE fun to involve our elected Representatives. :D

Again... vote and let yourself be counted if you will make an honest effort to attend.

I say name tags with Screen Names vs real names. Maybe have a shirt made with your avatar on it. LOL... see now you watch I am going to do it.
