Cool, that's alot of options. Knowing me I would probably keep it in the .50GI configuration for home defense. Never know when that rouge bear might come into your yard. :)

I wonder if the .50GI conversion will work on the 21SF... since the front to back of the grip is shortened. A .50 GI converted 21 SF would be a sweet home defense rig :)

I don't know about rouge bears, but brown or black bears might be a problem.

Heck, if you miss, you can still kill 'em with the muzzle blast.:)

Huh? :hat:

The fabulous and super innovative SF models ( :P ) should have no problem with this since the (slight) modification of the grip will not effect the slide.

The slide isn't where I had anticipated the problem. I thought the 50GI mags might be a tight fit into the SF frame. Guess it's not as tight as i thought :)

Huh? The 21 and 21SF use the same magazines, as long as the SF isn't fitted with an ambidextrous mag catch. Then the SF needs an identical mag with an extra cutout on the front.

All of the difference in the SF is found in the backstrap, and in the polymer trigger mechanism housing which sits inside the backstrap.
