Anyone going to the Camp Jordan show this weekend?

Just asking, since it's supposed to be nice out this weekend. I'll be there, and just figured I would ask since it would probably be a good event for the SE crowd to get to, and see what everyone's buying / selling / trading / looking for, or whatever.

Yeah, I'll probably pop over, should be getting back in town Thursday or Friday. Not gonna have much cash, but what the heck always fun to look around.

I'll be in Nashville for my sister's wedding. Really sucks to because I live less than 3 miles from Camp Jordan.

Joe, the last one I went to there was packed, but not a lot of great prices. It seemed like a lot of stuff was priced at MSRP. Usually better deals on the people bringing their own in looking to sell or trade.

lol strick, I went last September (?), and they had an antique tractor show going on down there as well. I believe it was the time before when they had jfest blaring out music as loud as the amps could go. Rough time finding parking when they have several events all at once.

yeah, durn antique buying christians with their silly music.....when will they ever learn! :)

on a serious note,I wonder how many of those antique/jfest folks left because of all the guns wondering around the parking lots

Y'all bringing anything, or just there to pick something up / browse? I may bring a gun or two, but likely I'll be looking to buy something (No antique tractors, btw) instead of selling / trading.

Had a good time there, as always ran into Spuds, was fairly crowded and in general not all that much on milsurps and the few there were to high and in only fair shape!

As always, go to 3 different vendors and the price on the same gun $150.-$200. price difference on an AK or SKS, there were a few deals there, but one needs to know the price on a gun, before the negotiation,

almost bought a Jungle Carbine, was reparked and all nos. unreadable and the bolt was badly blued, upon close exam. seemed like it had a bunch of rust around the rec. at one time and so i left it.

Did get 3 Polish Ak Mag pouches NOS for $10. and a NOS leather AK sling also for $10. instead of the $15. asking price. Pocket pistols like a P-32 for $349. or a PF-9 for $399. were rare and high!

Am looking forward to the SHriner's show next month.:)

Yeah, I had a pretty good time. It was my 8 year old son's 1st show. He's been shooting several years now, but had never been to one. It was not nearly as exciting as he had hoped lol! I think he kept waiting for folks to start test firing weapons, so by the end of the day, he was pretty bored. I did manage to pick up a NIB Remington 700 VTR in .22-250 and a few boxes of ammo for a pretty good deal, so I was happy.
