So many people are talking about the Bar Bill, is this the restraunt carry bill or something different?

Yeah it's the same. The media just call it the "Bar Bill" to make it sound like the Wild West.

In Florida, we were allowed to carry in any restraunt that served alcohol as long as we did not walk through the Bar part or sit inside of the bar area, is this the same principal?

Not really. In TN, there is no legal definition of a "bar". The bill doesn't make the distinction of where in a restaurant you can carry. You can sit at the bar while carrying if you wish, just don't drink anything.
