Knoxville TFA chapter Cookout/Shoot

What: TFA Knoxville Chapter "Bring your own food" Picnic and Shoot (If you want to eat, bring it with you)

When: Sunday August 19 1PM to 6PM

Where: Loudon County FOP 21 Range off "Camp Rest Road" in Lenior City.

Who: TFA members, families, and friends may attend.

NOTICE: ALL SHOOTERS SHOOT AT THEIR OWN RISK.

Please attend the 1st Annual Knoxville Chapter "Bring your own food" Picnic and shoot. This is being help with the blessing of the FOP 21 Lodge in Loudon County. We will have access to the 50 yard range (outside) so this will give you a chance to actually shoot those carry guns you have gathering dust in your holsters. We may also try to set up one or two IDPA/USPSA type stages. THIS WILL NOT BE A COMPETITION. This will be a "just for fun" shoot. We will be using "paper bag" stationary targets. Round count depends on how much you want to shoot. I would suggest 100 rounds.

If you like to fish you may also bring a fishing rod. The FOP lodge is located on the Tellico Lake. There are a few picnic tables but I would suggest bringing a chair.

Directions: From Lenior City. Take Hwy 321 across the Tellico Dam. When 321 Turns to a 4 lane in around 1/2 mile you will see a Church and the Volunteer Fire Department on the Left where you will turn between them onto "Antioch Church Road" follow it to "Camp Rest Road" or may now be called "McGhee Road" Follow this road and you will see the FOP 21 Sign (very small) where you will turn left onto the Gravel road right beside a house. You will come to the gate. The gate will not be locked just open it and shut it back. Come down to the end of the gravel road and you will be there.
