Strick...just go ahead and get you a fleece vest, a hybrid Range Rover, a hemp newbie, some birkenstocks and a cheezy gotee and get it over with...

The difference between those 'crowds' usually involves a trust fund...

Dang, Bronker. You just described the crowd at my local Starbucks. Except for me and a couple other biker trash.

You and your boys sound more like my kind of crowd, Big!

I love it when those little freak-niks get nervous. I think denim and leather gives them the drizzles!

I'm a Vandy grad, and used to wear overalls and cowboy boots to class. My first day of class, the professor called me up to his desk to ask if I was the one they sent to work on the air conditioner!

I told him how offended I was at such a stereotypical accusation on his part toward a registered student!

Then I fixed his air conditioner :poop:

I don't give Starpukes my money anymore. They contribute to anti-gun campaigns, and I just can't stand the pretentious lil freaks that sit there..all day.

Charbucks sucks. Oh, and the internet isn't free. You have to pay something like $7 a day.

That pisses me off. Places like Starbucks and Airports want you to pay like 15/month or 7-10/day to use the internet. This is almost as bad of a deal as text messaging prices.

If you offer free internet, I think more people would come.

I am always at Starbucks...but I dont "fit in" I am just stared at...so, I usually put my "Prison" face on...LOL...

when I take my kids, I start re-arranging all the shelves while I wait for my coffee...course my 13yr old daughter is like "daaaaddd sttooppppp....everyone is looking at youuuuu!!" at which point I break out between random laughter fits, and the prison stare...

its fun.

I used to go to Starbucks a lot years ago when I lived outside Jackson. I moved up to Nashville, didn't have my buddies to hang out with, and just gave up the $5.00 coffee.

But you want to get the little hippie freak-niks staring at you? I did it well, once. I went down to REI in Brentwood, and parked in the Starbucks lot, since they're in the REI parking lot. At the time, I was driving a '94 F-250 diesel. I came out of REI, hopped in the truck, and the ignition switch decided to die.

Ever have to hotwire a big, dirty diesel truck with exhaust stacks sticking through the bed in a Starbucks parking lot? :hyper: I think the only reason nobody called the cops on me was because I was parked beside a Lexus. If you're gonna steal a car, why go for the old pickup when there's a brand new Lexus? The guy must own it.

I go by every now and then, it's always fun to roll up in the drive through in a service truck. :hyper:

The thing I hate about Starbucks the most is they only have one line... I wish they had two separate lines, one for Super Frothy Mocha Carmelitos or whatever the fark, and another for plain black coffee. It really chaps my ass when the 10 people in front of me have coffee orders that have 15minute prep times each, and I just want a black coffee.

Dunkin Donuts is the Starbucks for poor folks.

And without the attitude, the environmentalist passion, the obama stickers, the SUV's, and the common sense of conservative values.

Otherwise, I can't tell the difference :)

And strickj, what are you, the 'diner police'?

What are we all having tomorrow?

Yup! Im applying for the tgo coffee review board :)

Tomorrow, this dunkin donuts place, but I can already tell ya its gonna lose points if I gotta get out of my car if im in a hurry

Might I suggest the large Turbo Hot, with two creams and three Splendas. Its the best. I have it every morning. Its an eloquent blend of cancer-causing, chlorine based artificial sweeteners, with a hint of hypertension-inducing excessive caffeine content, all in an smooth concoction of bacteria and organic mineral, heavy industrial-metal-laden tap water.

It goes down smooth, like the silent killer that it really is.

Enjoy!
