i have acquired 3 boxes of said ammo reloads. they are marked 246 lead rn. 4.5 bullseye. is this lite ,medium, or hot. dont think it is critical. will be using magnum revolver. i dont know ANYTHING about reloading:eek:

OK, per my Lee manual, that is a standard load. It lists at 765 fps and 1170 CUP. I'd say they're fine to shoot, as long as that is what they REALLY are.

Also, if you're shooting these in a .44 mag, you've got plenty of safety margin there as well.

thank you. not really a wheel gun fan. i ran into a 29-2 smith magnum with of all things 8 3/8 barrel. just couldnt pass it up. one round i did not have in my possession. just wanted to plink a bit with it.

Dont worry, they will work like a charm. The load sounds like an old target load for the special. If you want to do more research, Google Taffin Loads for the 44 Special.

Cool! Post up some pics of that bad boy, jughead! I have a 6" 629, and would LOVE an 8 3/8" gun! Those loads should shoot beautifully for you. Let us know how it all goes!

dont guess i will sell it. friend gave me a shoulder holster for it. i wore it for about five hrs. just to get the reaction from another good friend. it is a heavy sucker:screwy:

Nice gun.Those reloads ought to be like a mouse fart with that length barrel.I would advise against using reloads unless I knew the person throwing the lever.Never can be too safe.

i dont know the man. but was told of his reputation and he is on 58 highway chattanooga.had his name but if i dont write things down once i sleep on it it is history.
