I have no idea which bill the OP is talking about. Insurance and taking your guns away led me to that thread. I think the tinfoil is screwing up the search function.

On the national level, there was a bill introduced called HR 45 that would require gun registration. Last I heard, it was essentially dead and nothing to worry about.

More often than not, the fear of something is worse than the thing itself. I think this is all a very effective ploy by a group of some sort, somewhere.

Any person that pays attention to things can see what's obvious. It's obvious that a real attempt to seize weapons in this country might actually wake up the couch commandos enough to cause a physical problem. Possibly one that could escalate beyond their control.

They also realize that the sheeple will swallow any concoction as long as it is administered in small enough doses. So they nibble away at things while we are happy to make concessions. Let's all rejoice because we can carry in a park or a bar! Never mind it was never their right to tell anyone that they couldn't in the first place.

Lastly, they know that they will have no physical resistance from anyone as long as they handle things the way they have so far. They know that for all the talk we do, there's no chance of anyone doing anything about it, except to continue with the "I want, You want, They want" BS.

Maybe I'm as clueless as the next chump:tinfoil: but it's funny how people mention these sort of things and everyone scuttles about looking for a place to hide. No one is going to do anything, except continue the same old arguments and debates. Celebrating small concessions and lamenting loss of magazine capacity or some other such thing.

Luke12:25 And which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?

If everyone quits worrying about this sort of stuff, your blood pressure will lower and you'll live longer. I used to really get into the :) gubments gonna get us:tinfoil: As of late, I could care less. You can talk to a leaking dam all you want, but until you put your hands to it, It's not going to stop leaking.;)...And they say I'm mad:screwy:

Start with this:

"Pardon me, sir, but what are you doing in my house... specifically?"

:)

How about "Do you have a warrant?"

Oh wait, you said ATF, they don't use warrants. Nevermind.

not saying it isn't there, but I just can't find it--can someone point it out to me?

this is more related to the park and bar carry law....just because it has passed doesnt mean it's in effect yet right? i still carry there(always have) but is it legal now? if it is in effect, does it mean that the transporting of loaded guns to and from shooting ranges is legal?
