It was awesome. I got some lessons in off-hand pistol shooting (still can't really shoot worth crap...), and got to kick my own ass with the .270. Tower's Berretta is a very nice gun. So is the Baby Eagle. He'd know that, of course.

Cody, SHHHHH, yer gonna get me disowned!!!!

:koolaid:

Actually, Cody was referring to the Browning Hi Power markIII. The Eye-Talians WISH they could make a firearm as fine as that one.

for a graphic range report, refer to this link in my photobucket album...

we had a great time, I managed a fist size grouping with the 22 target pistol at 35 yards.. I have lots of work to do before Mark gets home!

Julie and I now have the capability to engage up to 3 clays at one time, with my wonderful birthday present...the winchester model 50, 12 gauge auto.

Cody brought his extremely accurate 270 bolt action out and mimiced those guys shooting the .577 T-Rex rifle.

Mike.357 may have to change his monniker to Mike.45 because he showed exemplary skills with his Rock Island .45....

To top it all off we got dinner at the Golden Corral so it was a great day!

I would also like to add that with a bit of coaching, C.A.S would make a fair youth pistol competitor! That kid has skillz! with PROPER coaching, he might make something out of it...or at least gain the title "the verminator"

Hehehehehehe.... Verbal, didja make it to the gunshow?

"fist-sized" - To echo the late Darth Vader, "All too easy" (evil grin) - brother, you sure you want to do this?

Cody and Mike now know something about my other major hobby... So guys, ya need a lantern? I might be able to find one somewhere....

Didn't make it out there Sat, but might swing by today (Sun). Although, I ended up having premature spending and picked up goodies for my HK, and some other gun items, online. Might actually refrain from going this time and let my funds build back up again.

Maybe we can meet up for the next one.

Hey, I have a Beretta that I've carried since before it was selected by the military.

Still carry it in jungle settings. Most accurate and reliable handgun I own. At least it's not a Glock. :koolaid:

I met waynesan last night in Bristol. Never could figure out if he was going down to listen to music or drink. Must have been listen to music. I was so tired I'd have gone with him if he was going to drink. Besides, I think he was packing. ;)

Hey, The Italians used to make great military hardware! :up:Ok so that was nearly 2 thousand years ago. They took over the known world ...once. And now they are done. They can still beat the French... But that is not saying much. ;)

Legal disclaimer: I live over and Italian restaurant and my wife is 1/4 Italian. :koolaid:

*sigh* I have 2 months to practice...I WILL get my groups alot tighter. You're using an Olympic grade pistol... I'll do the best I can and we'll see how it turns out.

Why? Need some competition? :squint:

Thanks Mark for letting us sling lead and throw brass on your place. You really do need to work on expansion of that lantern collection. Or was it build a wing on the house to hold them all ?:D

We did work for our keep though, taking down a tree with a few mid to high caliber chainsaws.:squint:

Tower summed up the shoot pretty well with his description.
