Like I said I will not know 100% for sure until sometime Thursday, More than likely my situation will work out so that i can go.

I also have convinced the higher powers around here that we can celebrate the grandsons birthday on another day or later in the day when I get back.

And so no one wonders, I have no intention of bringing a 5-year old to a shoot.

I suppose Cody that you ought to meet me at the Weigel's on the corner of

Emory Road and Tazewell Pike.

As I've mentioned, I'll be in Bristol at the Rhythm & Roots Reunion helping my wife sell jewelry on Saturday. If anyone gets up there, we are on State Street in front of the antique store, right at the mid-street crosswalk.

I'll see if mom has the ability of driving to there. She recently has ear surgery, so she was a bit wobbly on driving the last few days. She should be better by then, or if not Doug can take me down there.

any time you guys want to come up is fine, the range will be ready and good to go at about 10 on saturday.

I've finished cleaning up where Marks' wife Sue had me cut down some trees, and I've gotten all the weeds cut down and cleaned.

Tomorrow I will be putting up target frames, range markers and getting a picnic table down into the clearing. I also have to cut down 1 more tree and get it moved, but that won't take long at all.

All in all I think you guys will really like it, its shaping up to be a nice little pocket range with 2 rifle lanes and 4 pistol lanes.

Looks like the site will be well watered too. May not help you set up Tower, but it looks like the rain will move out by show time on Saturday.

Mean time, I get to set up my wife's jewelry booth on State street in the rain starting mid morning. Good thing I have plenty of Goretex. We'll be out there today through Sunday if anyone wants to take in some good country music.

Wish I could be with you guys and gals. I'd show you what a H&K can do against a Glock. Well, that's probably a lie, but it should get your blood pumping if you are a Glockodist.

Pat and I will be hopefully keeping dry on State Street until around 2330 hours after a very soggy yesterday. Rhythm & Roots continues tomorrow too. We noticed yesterday that about 3/4 of the bands we wouldn't classify as country. We also noticed that the worse the band was, the louder it played as if volume made up for lack of ability.
