7 1/2 weeks, on it's way!

Submitted 3/26, printed 3/27. Called again today and I've been approved and '7-14 days' for it to arrive! Longer than some have reported here, but shorter than many also. Call them call them, call them!

I should note I had called on 5/7 and one of the three background checks had come back. She had said to check back in two weeks.

Time to start preparing for my Wal Mart Walk!

I'll also add that it's been other people's stories on here about calling for your status check that helped this process along for me. They are ALWAYS nice when I call and happy to check for you, and it literally only takes a few seconds. Thanks!

My biggest fear of printing when I carry will be another HCPer mugging me for my ammo. I can't BELIEVE how bad the ammo situation is.

Permit received last Friday, 5/29

My wife bought me some 'cover' shirts Saturday and I went to Schnuck's Sunday twice for some stuff out of necessity (we'll do our Wal-Mart Marches together when her HCP comes this week). Other than the weight of the gun, it was fine. I know I did a few subtle shirt checks to make sure it wasn't hung up on the gun, but otherwise it was completely fine.
