I think a 1911 in 9mm would be a very nice choice. I like 1911s. I like 9mm. Seems like a great match to me.

I just got a Kahr CW9. I had a Kahr E-9 (carbon steel/parkerized) since about 1995 but the light weight of the 17oz CW9 was calling my name:D . 10oz lighter than the E-9 and an even thinner grip.

I'm happy.......for now:rolleyes::up:

Yeah, the CW9 really feels good in the hand. I have a PM40, but I keep coming back to look at the CW.:D

I used the biggest and the smallest pistols that I have to compare the size for ya'll as well as a few other things enjoy.......:dropjaw:

For some reason that gun looks a lot smaller on the table than in your hand (as far as height goes)

btw, what kind of holster is that?

It is a total of 5 inches tall. I dont have very large hands and in that photo I have my pointer finger running along the top of the slide.

Oh ok. Well I have experience handling 5 inch objects so I might have to look into one of these.

Don Hume H727OT 10-P10 in stock at Hero Gear, Don Hume make the same model with a thumb break as well. It will fit any Officer/Commander size 3" 1911.
