Glock 35?

I have a Springfield XD 40 Tactical that I've been shooting in USPSA. I also have an XD Service that I don't shoot at all. Thinking about getting a Glock 35 for a second production pistol. What's your thoughts on my selling or trade of my XD Service for the Glock 35?

Thanks:confused:

The Glock will be a couple ounces lighter and hold a couple more rounds than your XD Tactical, but otherwise will be pretty similar. I'm a Glock fan and so am happy you are thinking G35, but the trigger is a bit different and may take a little getting used to.

I shoot a glock 34. The pistol is very accurate at speed. I believe their are a couple of different trigger weights that came from the factory. Mine is 2.5#. Overall, I much prefer the glock to the XD, and I'll admit that I am not a glock champion. MY advice is to keep the XD and try out a 35 for a couple of comps, then decide whicxh to keep long term. BTW, I frequently see deals on used G34/35s ($450-$475), so you might want to try a used one.

I'm in the market for a G34. Any help on where to find a deal on a used G34 would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, I saw it and it is nice. Even had a nice set of aftermarket sights but he was asking $680 (plus tax & TBI). I can order a new one from Buds in Ky for around $600 delivered (including shipping & $25 transfer) and the Rabi has quoted me $660 "out the door" for new. If I were going to spend $600, I'd go local and get a new one from the Rabi however, I'm really looking for one to play around in the woods with so $450-$475 sounds perfect. Any other suggestions?

Didn't know the price was so jacked up! YIKES

Seems like the new option maybe better price wise. Gunbroker & Gunsamerica don't have much in the $450-$475 range either.
